SPECIAL MECHANIC: STEALTH

When a player is in Stealth, they have an Advantage roll against their target.
[ This means that they roll twice and take the higher of the two results. ]

Getting into Stealth takes a full round's action while in a combat scenario -
it's a
preparatory maneuver; you're positioning yourself to strike at Advantage.
You cannot heal or deal damage in addition to your Stealth attempt roll.

​

To drop into Stealth in the Compendium's system, you have to beat:

CHALLENGE TIER + 10

I.E., if an enemy you're attempting to attack from Stealth is a CT 1, you must meet or beat 11 to successfully Stealth and attack it with an Advantage roll the following phase.

Utilize your Dexterity as a bonus modifier when you are attempting a Stealth roll.

​

If your character is wearing heavy armor, such as plate or jingling chain mail,
subtract an additional 5 from your roll result.

​

Players do not have to roll to Stealth while out of combat, and may do so as a free action.
