PATCH NOTES SO FAR - 10.31

↳ Rejoice, for a custom search bar has been added to the Compendium's website!! No more fine-tooth-combing through a page looking for that ONE ITEM you swore you saw.

↳ Still hammering away at updating those new item pages for color classification and legibility. There's a lot of items here, man.

↳ The Consumables page has been created and finalized with a starter list of items, all of which are available at patch-launch-day. Speaking of. . .

↳ Patch launch day is planned for SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH, 2019. This is subject to change, but it's when I plan on having all this stuff done and uploaded.

↳ There's a new welcome bot for the discord! It's neat.

↳ There's also a new suggestions bot for the discord! Typing !suggest in front of any new post will file it into the # suggestions channel where it can be addressed.

PATCH NOTES SO FAR - 11.5

↳ The updates of items and colors for set bonuses is completed in its entirety.

↳ Weapon upgrades have not been touched. That's for 2.2, or maybe even 2.3, as 2.2 will focus on re-integration of Charisma.

↳ Runestones and their concept have been removed; their effects will be rewritten and used as either Trinkets or Rings, as they're pretty powerful as-is.

↳ Patch launch day is still this upcoming 9th.

↳ The discord welcome bot should not be a pile of garbage now!!

↳ Fixed the website menu's colors to where they don't contrast so hard.

↳ Fixed @Ralaconia 's suggestion for the defibrillator/salts; it now heals for half health, rounded down, and the Smelling Salts are now 3 badges per 1.

PATCH NOTES SO FAR - 11.6

↳ Pet system skeleton has been laid out!

↳ Once this has been tested and shown to be working, it will be added in; no forced update spacing like for 2.1.

↳ Players will sacrifice an item slot for a pet, giving up a solid color Assailant, Defender or Restorator set bonus.

↳ Items have been created and will be in place specifically for pet owners.

↳ These items will be marked as Chromatic to allow players with pets access to its set bonuses, so they don't feel left out or weakened while alone.

↳ Pets will have their own modifiers in three categories; Cunning, Hardiness and Insight. ↳ They also have access to their owners' items, but the cooldowns are shared.

Charisma has also started to eke its way back into the armory.

↳ It won't replace the stats on existing items, but instead there will be at least 3-4 new items that have to do with Charisma in each item slot.

↳ Basic items have already been written and are waiting to be implemented.

↳ The biggest worry about Charisma-based items are DM-overriding items, but this fear is being pushed aside due to how each DM is unique and adaptable.

More info will be doled out on these two systems as they get ironed out!

As promised, Here's the giant google sheet of all the proposed item changes that would take place in patch 2.1.

Each section is separated by tabs at the bottom, by their section - Head, Neck, Chest, so on, so forth.

Please CTRL+F any items you may be using and compare them to the change listed, and let me know your feedback in the Discord's buffs-and-nerfs channel!

You'll also note the set bonus column, which is the fourth and last column!

People tend to zero in on wanted items, earn enough of the currency necessary, buy the item and then are set or bored with their character. The idea behind a set bonus is to incorporate Ye Olde Prior Set Bonuses like the vanilla dungeon sets and most raid sets to encourage people to collect, mix and match their items for different play styles.

Maybe you're a DPS that would like to be a tank for the night - break out a few of your Defender-tagged items and go to town. Maybe you're a Healer that wants to do some damage - grab some of your Assailant-marked items. Did your healing partner not show up for the event? Alright, DPS guy, your Restorator items have you covered, while still giving you your DPS class buff.

Characters that collect three of the same Set Bonus Type - either Restorator, Defender or Assailant - receive the option to pick from one of the bonuses listed.

Players must have all three of one type of 'color' - having all Restorator does not give them access to an Assailant buff. Players can also only have one buff active at a time! However - for those players that want to only want to change up their style, or are attached to certain items with mixed-up colors, there are Chromatic variations of Set Bonuses that can be earned, as well! Combinations of the primary colors are possible to make Orange [ Aggressor ], Green [ Striker ], and Purple [ Remediator ]!

One Yellow + Two Red OR Two Yellow + One Red = Orange
One Yellow + Two Blue OR Two Yellow + One Blue = Striker
One Blue + Two Red OR Two Blue + One Red = Remediator

Every Chromatic item can be subbed-in for another primary color, as well, giving those with utility items even more utility to choose from potentially any of the buff categories available.

More information will be given as the patch progresses!

• Roles have been set! Bots have been introduced! Channels have been created! • Finished updating every item for 2019!

• Finished assigning a set bonus for every item!

• Balanced the set bonus non-color system with the introduction of Chromatic colors. Do you have an item that doesn't quite fit in with your set? Maybe it's Chromatic! Chromatic means you can use it in place of any color in a set, instead of just being gray and giving no set bonus. More info soon!™
